Parenting Children with Special Needs

I have a specialty in working with parents who have a child diagnosed with a developmental difference, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Watching your child struggle is one of the most difficult things to experience, especially while you are trying to cope with your own feelings and experiences with the diagnosis.

I believe that the role of parenting can be the most rewarding and challenging experience all at the same time. It definitely comes with daily learning experiences and can open wounds we did even know existed! Now, adding in parenting a child with special needs, there are even more obstacles and it can be isolating and even more difficult to do self care. At Seasons of Possibilities you will be supported as you sort through your experience as a parent and find ways to take care of yourself, which is the best way to take care of those you love.
